This notice explains how MERYK Executive Transfers ("we", "us") uses personal information when you ask for a quote, book a journey, contact us or use this website.

Who we are

MERYK Executive Transfers is the trading name of MERYK EXECUTIVE TRANSFERS LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (company no. 16577083), registered office 124 City Road, London EC1V 2NX. MERYK EXECUTIVE TRANSFERS LTD is the controller of your information. Contact: merykexecutivetransfers@gmail.com, 01689 810777.

What we collect

  • What you send through the quote form: your name, phone number, email address, the pickup address, the destination, the date and time, the number of passengers and suitcases, the vehicle class, your flight number if you give one, and your message.
  • What you send by phone, WhatsApp or email, such as addresses, travel dates, flight details and any special requests (for example child seats or stops on the way).
  • To reply to you, give you a quote and carry out the journey, including following your flight so the pickup matches your landing time: steps you asked for before a contract, and the contract itself (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).
  • To keep the records tax law requires, such as payments: legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c)).
  • To keep this website secure and working: our legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)).

We don't use your details for marketing and we don't sell them.

Who helps us

These providers handle information for us, only on our instructions:

  • Cloudflare, which hosts this website and processes form submissions.
  • Resend, which delivers the form to our email inbox.
  • Afaceri Diaspora Ltd, which built and maintains this website and keeps a copy of form messages so none are lost.
  • WhatsApp (Meta) and our email provider, when you contact us that way.
  • Google, only if you allow visit statistics or choose to load the map.

Some of these providers may process information outside the UK. Where they do, they use safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don't lead to a booking are deleted within 12 months. Booking and payment records are kept for as long as the law requires (usually six years), including the records a licensed private hire operator must keep.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it or ask us to restrict it. Email merykexecutivetransfers@gmail.com. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
